Find your customers’ motivation, develop or redevelop your product/ service to meet the motivation and you’re on your way to closing a sale.
Don’t be selfish when selling, business is about value and mutual benefits, so don’t force the wrong product/ service on to a customer. If you can’t satisfy their need even after redevelopment, then you’re approaching the wrong market.
